​Tulsi is a sophomore from Simpsonville, South Carolina. She is a Philosophy: Medicine, Health, and Human Values major with minors in Public Policy and the Life Sciences. Tulsi became interested in The Pendulum because of her interest in analyzing global healthcare systems and immersive travel experiences, which allowed her to compare international affairs and the effects of globalization. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and engaging in other involvements on campus. She is excited to work with the magazine's writers and grow the Pendulum's outreach on campus!

​Matthew is a senior hailing from Chapin, South Carolina. He is majoring in history, with minors in Russian Area Studies and Political and Legal Theory. In addition to The Pendulum, Matthew has also written for other Clemson magazines, including The Chronicle and The Aurantiaco, but he found that The Pendulum offers the unique opportunity to analyze and write about international affairs, which he took a particular liking to. The former Editor-in-Chief, Matthew is particularly interested in matters relating to Eastern Europe, Africa, and Euro-African relations.

Ava is a freshman from Apex, North Carolina majoring in Graphic Communications. Her interest in The Pendulum stems from her passion for visual communication as it serves to bridge the gap between diverse cultural experiences. As Layout Editor, Ava hopes to provide an efficient platform for which the complexities of international affairs can be analyzed to their greatest potential. She particularly enjoys learning about historical perspectives and engaging in community service. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography, and being creative! Ava is looking forward to her first collegiate travel abroad experience over the summer and hopes to practice global mindfulness.

Alayna is a freshman from Fort Mill, SC, majoring in Genetics. She hopes to pursue a career in genetic counseling or industrial genetics, with a focus on global genetic patterns. Alayna has traveled for international service projects and maintains that it is necessary to be aware of global challenges to better understand both domestic and international solutions. She looks forward to her first semester as a contributing graphics editor and hopes to continue working with the Pendulum in the future. In her free time Alayna enjoys reading, archery, and doing research.​

​Owen is a junior from Ridgeside, Tennessee majoring in History and Economics with minors in Legal Studies and English. Previously the editor for the Society, Culture, and Economics Desk, the Pendulum was the first collegiate publication that he was a part of, and he is excited to head the magazine this year and expand its reach. He particularly enjoy the interdisciplinary nature of researching international relations, as it combines all his core interests in politics, societal pressures, and cultural communication. In his free time, Owen enjoys hiking, playing guitar in a punk band, and repairing old electronics.

Cece is a junior from Orlando, Florida. She is majoring in Marketing and minoring in Communications with a hope to work in the international nonprofit world once graduated. Cece is currently heavily involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes on Clemson’s campus and is looking forward to serving as the Business and Promotions Chief for The Pendulum. She has traveled overseas multiple times and believes that it is important to be informed about what is happening all around the world!

Briggs is a second-year student from Charleston, South Carolina, double-majoring in Political Science and French Language with a minor in Japanese Studies. After serving as the Americas Desk editor in Spring 2024, Briggs is excited to reaffirm his commitment to The Pendulum as an editor for the next academic year. He is a member of the Clemson creative inquiry group Every Campus is A Refuge (ECAR) and is a Clemson Writing Fellow in the university's Writing Lab. He loves spending time with friends, traveling to new places, listening to Michael Jackson, walking (under an umbrella) in rainy weather, and snuggling with his two dogs.
